We are an organization with a mission to promote local, sustainable and organic agriculture, increase economic opportunities for farmers and small food businesses, offer experiential learning about, and access to healthy local foods. Our farmers markets serve as integral links between urban, suburban, and rural communities, giving farmers and their consumers the opportunity to interact in a vibrant gathering place.

The Leesburg Farmers Market began operation in 1994 and became a year-round in 2006. We now host 4 additional seasonal markets at locations across Loudoun County. Our markets are “producer-only”; the vendor must grow or produce ALL products they sell. Additionally, the production must take place within a 125-mile radius of Loudoun County. Faithful shoppers count on our markets to connect them directly with the source of their food, which they know to be fresh, healthy, and affordable. Our customers are also aware that buying directly from local and small family farmers and entrepreneurs keeps them in business and produces more jobs in our own community.

Locally grown foods are fresher and retain their healthy nutrients longer. Sustainable and organic foods protect your health and the environment. These foods are free of antibiotics, pesticides and other potentially dangerous chemicals. Eating locally produced foods saves energy by reducing the number of miles your food travels.

Stop by and take advantage of our occasional free cooking demonstrations and our kid friendly activities. Broaden your culinary horizons as you learn about new foods. Our vendors can offer many suggestions as to how to prepare delicious dishes using the variety of products available.

Our Online Ordering Platform

As a member of our online ordering platform, you only order what you want, when you want - there is no requirement to order every week. You shop by the item and there is NO MINIMUM ORDER, required. With one order and one payment, you order directly from all producers on our site.

Our farmers share with you details about their products and their practices so you can make the best decisions for your family's health and nutrition needs. Completely transparent, you will know exactly where your food is coming from and are encouraged to contact your farmers directly with questions.

This innovative online buying program allows small farms to sell their products as they come available at a competitive fair price that is set by them.

There is no minimum supply requirement for our vendors to sell, here. This allows even our very small, start-up farms to grow and expand into a larger marketplace. It also helps the more seasoned family farms to strengthen their place in the economy for future generations.

Our producers share in the delivery, which help to keep costs low. That means more money goes back to the farms to grow more food for you.
